Transaction Currency

This document outlines the policies regarding the currencies supported for transactions processed through the SlonAxis platform and our payment partner, Zoho Payments.

1. Supported Base Currencies

SlonAxis is designed to support businesses operating in various regions. For users based in India, the primary base currency for all subscription billing and in-platform transactions is the Indian Rupee (INR).

Depending on your business location and the configuration of your Zoho Payments integration, you may also be able to process transactions in other major currencies (e.g., USD, EUR, GBP). Please check your account settings for the specific currencies enabled for your region.

2. Subscription Billing

Your SlonAxis subscription fees will be billed in the currency displayed at the time of checkout.

• If you are an Indian entity, you will be billed in INR.
• If you are an international entity, you may be billed in USD or another supported regional currency.

3. In-Salon Transactions (POS)

When using the SlonAxis Point of Sale (POS) system to bill your customers:

• Transactions will be recorded and processed in the base currency you have configured for your branch/account.
• Payment processing for these transactions is handled securely through Zoho Payments or your integrated payment gateway.

4. Exchange Rates and Conversion Fees

If you process a payment from a customer whose card or payment method is issued in a currency different from your base currency:

• The currency conversion will be handled by the customer’s bank or the payment processor (Zoho Payments).
• Exchange rates are determined by the payment processor or the issuing bank at the time of the transaction.
• SlonAxis does not control these exchange rates and does not charge any additional currency conversion fees. However, Zoho Payments or the customer’s bank may apply foreign transaction fees or conversion margins.

5. Pricing Display

All prices displayed on the SlonAxis website and within the platform are exclusive of applicable taxes unless explicitly stated otherwise. The currency symbol (e.g., ₹, $) will clearly indicate the currency of the quoted price.
